Job Type: Contract (Short Period), until the translation is complete

Role Description

• As a translator, (UI/UX Translator), you'll convert written material from one or more 'source languages' into the 'target language', making sure that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible

Required Qualification and Experience

This role requires 0-2 years experience with Fluency in Amharic, Tigrigna & Oromiffa Language, must be demonstrated by the candidate

Furthermore, the below-listed qualifications are required: -

• Translate the given written material to Tigrigna, Oromiffa language

• Able to provide accurate translations of texts.

• Able to proofread and making final editions to translated versions

• Able to work under supervision

Desired Skills and Knowledge

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge in English, Amharic, Tigrigna & Oromiffa Language

• Detail-oriented with the ability to execute instructions

• Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic

• Basic problem-solving and critical thinking and well-developed skill on required outputs follow up

• Taking initiative, responsible, good time management, and organization skills
