Job Description
Overview:
Plan, organize and execute financial tasks of Fine-tech project of Quantum Technology Plc.
Produce financial reports, mange investment activities, create strategies and plans for long-term financial goals of an organization.
Duties & responsibilities:
Enforce generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Based on the company annual plan she/he will develop the budget and annual plan of the Fine-tech project.
She/he will lead, facilitate and control the Fine-tech project and hold regular meetings with the finance staff.
By using the strategic plan of the company, she/he will prepare the project annual budget in collaboration with other departments and will follow and monitor the implementation of the budget once it’s approved by the general manager.
She/he will work on providing financial insight about the project cost, budget, policies and manuals for both employees and stakeholders.
She/ he will oversee and control the department revenue and cost.
She/he will work closely with the Finance head, other management staff and stakeholders on adjusting the cost of the company products and develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
She/he will provide briefing on the company budget and financial activities and understand and calculate the risks involved in the project financial activities.
She/he will prepare the project financial report (Profit & loss) and provide briefing.
She/he will provide all the necessary information while the company is under audit (internal & external) and will give comments on the results.
She/he will decide on the human resources and materials needs of the project.
She/he will conduct performance evaluation (twice a year) for the staffs under her/his direct supervision, motivate those with good achievement and will work on ways to improve the performance of those who are under performing.
She/he will work in collaboration with the human resources department to formulate training and continuous professional development programs/platforms for employees under its project.
She/he will prepare and present a finance plan & its implementation progress for the general manager.
She/he will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement (profit & loss) and submit for the finance head
Ensure all financial information is recorded in the finance system and support documents are well filled.

Qualifications and Experience
BA Degree or Masters Degree in finance/accounting or related field from a legal collage/university.
8+ years of experience.
Professional Certification IFRS and Peachtree.
Work experience in a Fine-tech project is a plus.
KNOWLEGDE, SKILLS, ATTITUDE
Knowledge of GAAP.
Knowledge about financial policies, manuals and laws (National & international).
Peachtree accounting skill and quick books.
Excellent computer utilization skill.
Excellent communication skill and excellent finance report – writing.
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reading comprehension – fluent in Amharic & English.
