The incipient is responsible to oversee overall operations of the warehouses, coordinates the flow of materials & goods through the production operations, inventory control, materials handling, transportation and planning, worker's training and evaluate employees' performances.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Responsible for the safe operations of the warehouses, ensures warehouse employees comply with safety requirements, ensures safety equipment is in place & functional.

• Materials responsibility for inventory in Warehouses,

• Responsible for stock replenishment, placement, handling, transactions & disposal of obsolete stocks.

• Responsible for the coordination & efficient stock taking, reconciliation & periodic reporting.

• Responsible for the implementation of FIFO in the stock movements & ensures updated shelf-life files.

• Responsible to coordinate the quality inspection of incoming materials & ensures quantity against shipping documents & updated load factor file.

• Responsible for creating and implementing warehouses management procedure, KPI’s.

• Responsible for good housekeeping of supervised area, materials, initiation of improvement programs and projects.

• Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.

• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

Job Requirements

Education:

• BA or BSC degree in Logistics Management, production management or engineering fields

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in related field
