Cheshire Ethiopia is an Ethiopian Resident Charity and invites qualified applicants for the following post፡- 

Job Summary: 

Under the general supervision of the Senior Social worker ; the Junior Social Worker is responsible for the counseling clients under supervision of the social worker or senior social worker at the rehabilitation center.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Attending clinics  in rehabilitation centers, Mobile Outreach  and CBR projects

  • Assessing and certifying free service  and or cost sharing clients

  • Assessing and   offering advice or counseling clients under supervision of senior or Class two social workers.

  • Preparing individual service plan for every child admitted to the center

  • Facilitate admissions and discharges and follow-up care

  • Report changes in patient condition / treatment to supervising physiotherapist

  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team regarding assessment, treatment implementation, outcome and discharge 

  • Record and maintain the patient information in the clinical file

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and privacy of privileged information

  • Demonstrate empathy and compassion for all patients, regardless of health, age, race, ability ,disability or culture

  • Involve in awareness, raising training, community, education services.

  • Taking  picture of every child and writing case histories  admitted following the progress attained 

  • Writing reports on special events held at the center or project or visits made.

  • Conduct any related work as requested by his supervisor
