BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the regular servicing & maintenance of all kitchen and laundry machines and equipment. Responsible: for ensuring efficient and effective operation of all kitchens and laundry machineries & equipment through timely executing of the planned preventive maintenance on all the machineries & equipment in the laundry & all kitchens. Responsible for: conducting regular daily inspections in all kitchens & laundry to check and ensure safe, smooth & efficient operation of all machineries and equipment.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool.

EDUCATION:      Diploma in Electrical, Electronics from a recognized Technical College          

EXPERIENCE:   Minimum of three (3) year relevant experience in the maintenance of electrical and electronics machineries & equipment out of which at least one year of intensive work experience in repair & maintenance of kitchen & laundry machineries and equipment is required. Experience in reading manuals, drawings; and in tracing electrical circuit and schematic diagram is required. Reasonable experience in working on fittings, welding, soldering & other mechanical & plumbing work is advantageous.

 LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:  Read, write, comprehend and well spoken in English language is required. Other international language is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:  Good knowledge of reading mechanical & electrical drawings & circuit diagrams, capable of working in a team environment and good physical fitness, excellent knowledge of the products and services provided by the hotel, excellent guest contact & communication skills; ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments is required.
