Role Summary

The main role of the ERP Techno-Functional Consultant is to collaborate with the end users and the internal team, to assist customers in the designing, building and maintaining their Dynamics AX environment.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure timely development and ongoing maintenance of Company-wide ERP system completely.

• Assist projects related to Company’s ERP and product support.

• Provide user training whenever required.

• Extract data, report creation and analyze system for ERP solutions.

• Implement ERP process to increase efficiencies.

• Perform as liaison between functional teams, IT Application Support, IT Development and DBA teams on system issues, enhancements and projects.

• Interact with Microsoft Support on issues requiring technical assistance requests for ERP systems.

• Assist in coordination of ERP Software Financials testing and release processes.

• Provide ad hoc training on system functionality as requested by business owners.

• Develop and maintain working knowledge of applications within their domain (e.g. HR, Payroll, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.)

• Ensure system issues are resolved on time and efficiently to meet Accounting and Finance team’s deadlines.

• Data Migration of Master and Opening balance data whenever required.

• Automating existing business operations in Microsoft Dynamics AX by creating or modifying workflows.

• Generate financial reports using Management Reporter.

• Customization and Report Development

Job Requirement

• Degree in Computer science / Information System or equivalent;

• Possess at least four (3) years of significant practical and technical experience in a

• Microsoft Dynamics AX technical development/implementation installation, configuration, source code deployment and all subsidiary software needed for a successful Dynamics AX Implementation;

• Or having at least seven (7) years of significant practical and technical experience in another Microsoft Dynamics ERP like NAV, GP and so on.

• Strong knowledge of Programming (X++,C#, XML, Web Services, etc.);

• Strong experience with SQL server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and EP skills;

• Experience with Dynamics AX2012;

• Experience in EP and SharePoint Knowledge;

• Excellent documentation and prioritization skills;

•  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and assistance
