Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain and manage deployment project plans, including sub-contractors, quality management plans to ensure the company meet contractual scope of work, milestones and customer pre-requisites.

• Prepare and maintain resource plan and forecast including own resources, subcontractor needs and tools.

• Monitor, track and ensure deliveries of equipment’s and installation materials.

• Secure availability and accuracy of deployment work orders sent to field planning & dispatching and resolves any issues raised by field teams.

• Finalize the equipment installation acceptance with proper contractual documentation and generate Acceptance Documentation according to acceptance protocol or agreement.

• Perform regular meetings to monitor progress and solve potential issues.

• Monitor performance of project teams and subcontractors. Provide feedback to resource owner and/or procurement.

• Enforce compliance to HSE rules for safe working environment

• Implement changes to triple constraints in line with the defined change management process.

• Ensure timely CAPEX Utilization & Invoicing for all assigned projects.

• Prepare and disseminate project reports and updates, governance meeting presentations in a timely manner.

• To supervise, motivate and evaluate project resources performance on projects 

• Any other related duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• BSC in Telecommunication engineering/Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication option) Telecommunication engineering or related field. 

• 5 years’ experience in Telecommunication industry with bias to GSM in the following areas;

• Huawei/Nokia BTS

• Nokia/NEC/Ericsson/ Aviat Microwave equipment

• Protocol knowledge of 5G-NR, LTE, VoLTe, UMTS, and GSM interfaces is also recommended.

• Fiber optics equipment rollout and maintenance

• Implementation and rollout project

• Maintenance of passive site infrastructure (Generators, Aircons, Electrical controls, site janitorial work, Electric fence maintenance) is an added advantage.
