LWF World Service is the humanitarian and development arm of the Lutheran World Federation. We are a widely recognized, international, faith-based organization working in over 20 countries. Duties and Responsibilities
Draft a communication strategy for the program unit
Provide communication support in the preparation of any events that may take place during her internship duration
Support in writing and editing promotional materials such as posters, flyers, different report, newsletters
Support in the development of visual communications such as PowerPoint
Translate communications materials when necessary
Support in the development of audiovisual materials in any event and monitoring visit
Write stories, best practices, and document photos
Support in ensuring donor visibility plans
Document important programs in audio-visual materials – photos and videos
Assist the program unit in the documentation of lessons learned, success stories /stories of change
Carry out other related tasks as given by the program coordinator or head of the organization
Job Requirements
Required skills
Graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, journalism, or communication from a recognized college/university
Previous intern experience in communication is an advantage
Additional requirements
Good communication skills in English both verbal and written
Open minded for strong knowledge and skills in computer application programs
Open minded for ability to work independently
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment
