Job Description
Positive action for Development (PAD) is an Ethiopian resident’s charity organization. The organization was legally registered at Federal level by Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Charities and Societies agency on June 6/2011 with a registration number 2330. The organization has also been re-registered and accorded legal personality with registry number 2330 on May 22, 2019 as Local Organization in accordance with the civil society Organization proclamation No. 1113/2019. PAD would like to hire qualified professional for the following position.
Assist in the implementation of the project, tracking progress and providing weekly project updates for doners
Assist in providing monthly/quarterly project updates in stakeholder meetings
Identifying upcoming challenges or successes in the project
Providing continuous improvement feedback to the donor
Identifying efficacy of nudges and the platform and opportunities for improvement
Assist in writing project progress reports and any other documents as stipulated by the subaward
Assist in mapping and screening potential donors
Support timely implementation of activities in accordance with project work plan
Maintain close communication with partners to ensure relevance and quality of activities and projects’ outputs
Support the monitoring of project activities by conducting field visits and maintaining close communication with partners and consultants
Keep records and file all documents related to planning and implementation of activities in line with the office filing system
Perform other related duties as requested by his/her immediate supervisor
Qualification: Degree in Journalism & Communication, English, Sociology, Psychology, Social Anthropology any other related fields
Experience: Zero Year and GPA 3.75 and above
Skills Required, Attitudes and Attributes:
Excellent communication (written and spoken) in English
Very good working knowledge of ICT technologies (related software, phone, email, internet),
Excellent technical and report writing skills;
Excellent communication and Networking skill;
Ability to work as part of a project team
Willingness to strengthen skills and competencies as required by the tasks.
Knowledgeable and experienced on minimum standards of child safeguarding
Sound experience on gender equality, Social Inclusion, and Child safeguarding
