Summary:
The U.S. Mission in Addis Ababa/Ethiopia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Realty Clerk.
The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties
Under the direct supervision of the Supervisory Realty/Leasing Assistant, the incumbent provides clerical and administrative support in the management of leased residential and non-residential properties for all agencies in the Embassy including the State, CDC, DOD and USAID. The Incumbent serves as an incidental operator of official vehicles and meets all requirements outlined in 14 FAM 433.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of experience in office management or administrative work is required.
Education: Completion of two years of college/university studies is required.
LANGUAGE:
Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. (This may be tested)
Level 4 (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing Amharic is required. (This may be tested)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Using personal computer applications such as Microsoft Office, good working knowledge of searching on the Internet/Intranet, knowledge of various online housing sites; Outlook, typing and calculator. Excellent negotiation skills. Ability to use tact and judgment when dealing with colleagues and suppliers. Display excellent customer service advocacy. Must have a Grade 2 valid Ethiopian driver’s license for a minimum of five (5) years. (These may be tested)

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
