Africure Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Ethiopia plc is now looking to hire experienced candidate who is visionary to contribute a positive impact in team of Arricure Ethiopia on job position of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Executive.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Follows up the implementation of Corporate EHS guidelines on site and coordinate with Corporate EHS to ensure compliance of EHS requirements;

• Conduct periodical EHS audit for the plant;

• Ensure that the site is compliant with respect to IFC guidelines, BS, ISO 45001:2018 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications;

• Update the EHS Standards at the site by introducing the latest developments;

• Maintain and control daily EHS practices with regular checks of work area, ensure that hazards are identified, precautionary measures are taken and advice contractor supervisors on EHS matters;

• Conduct EHS /IFC/ EIA Gap Analysis;

• Inspection of tools and tackles, equipment & machine, scaffoldings, electrical equipment, crane, etc. before starting the work;

• Accident/Incident investigation and root cause analysis and communicate for corrective and preventive action (CAPA) to avoid re-occurrence;

• Ensure that complaints, incidents, compliance deviations and enforcement actions are fully investigated and work with other departments to ensure corrective and preventive measures are taken.

Term of Employment: - Permanent up on satisfactory completion of the probationary period.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

• MSc/BSc in Public Health, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemical Engineering, Pharma

• at least 3 – 5 years relevant work Experience on the position (pharma experience is advantageous).
