Job Description

International Clinical Laboratories (ICL) is one of the largest of independent clinical diagnostic centers on the African continent. ICL opened its door for service in 2004 with the aim of “contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of the quality of life throughout Ethiopia” by encompassing a system of human and physical resources designed to meet the changing healthcare needs of the population it serves.

It is the only laboratory accredited by the USA based Joint Commission International (JCI) five times in a row. The laboratory provides more than 3000 tests in collaboration with its referral laboratories.

ICL would like to fill the following vacant positions under the customer service section for (Gambella Branch)  CSC by inviting all qualified and competent applicants:

Position: Receptionist/clerk 

Required Number: 01

Employment conditions: Permanent 

Report to :- Gambella CSC Branch Supervisor

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  • Diploma and Above by finance filed 

  • Abel to communicate with the Local Language 

Required: - Proven experience in Customer communication and Handling and a minimum of one year of experience in hotel management Reception area   

Responsibilities: 

  • Building positive rapport with customers

  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office

  • The answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls to reception as necessary  

  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email. 

  • Collect payment from cash-paying customers, use the cash register machine properly, and make sure all the tests are entered and receipts are given to the customers

  • Verify credit paying customers and issue credit sales invoices using proper procedure

  • Preparing daily summaries and submitting them to the finance department on a  daily basis.

  • Develop & maintain a professional relationship with all staff members

  • Requesting reception stationery materials regularly
