Job Description

An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company for the role of Unit leader-Stores .We works with the world's most cherished trade mark; invests in the most sophisticated production system in the world and employ people who are prepared to work with passion and focus.

The position is structured to report to the Logistics Manager and the incumbent will be responsible to lead the end to end stores operation in the plant. In addition, He will be responsible to to ensure the safeguarding of company assets and inventory whilst minimizing risk, fraud and losses through ensuring compliance to company stores management processes and procedures. The role holder will also lead a group of stores controllers in different areas.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Effective stock management and reconciliation

  • People Management

  • Ensure financial management of areas impacting stores cost

  • Manage stakeholders relationship

  • Drive excellent housekeeping standards 

  • Support and work with the Stock Controllers to ensure daily stock counts are executed within the standard

Job Requirements

  • First Degree in Logistics and Supplies Management/ Accounting & Finance /Management or related field of studies with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant logistics experience.

  • A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required.
