On behalf of our client, National Transport PLC, we are looking for successful candidates to fill the position of Finance Department Manager to be located at Diredawa.

Job Brief

To Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects, and to be responsible for the overall financial health of the company. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible to Manage the NTPLC’s Accounting and reporting functions: The finance manager and his/her team manage the preparation of balance sheets, financial statements, cash-flow reports, day-to-day record keeping, and reporting, including all payroll, accounts payable, and receivable. It also manages and conducts all internal controls, and tax and reporting functions. It makes sure that the NTPLC is in line with internal and external rules and regulations and makes sure the company is in good financial health.

• Responsible for Provide Strategic financial management: The finance manager and his/her team look at the overall picture to assess NTPLC’s health and plan short and long-term goals. The finance team will also use current records and reports to predict the growth and future trends of the NTPLC. The team creates forecasts and plans to ensure growth, manages and mitigates risk, looks at ways to increase capital, manages budgets and financing options, and liaises with external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• BA in Accounting or in Other Relevant Fields of Studies
• 10 years of proven working experience in a finance-related management position preferably in a transport sector
Work Location- Diredawa
Salary: 50,000 and above based on negotiation and prior experience and salary history
