1.       Plans and coordinates all the quality assurance and environment protection operations of the company. 

2.       Ensures the operations of the business units are environmentally friendly.

3.       Ensures positive relationship between the community and the company.

4.       Develops policies, procedures and strategies for quality assurance activities & presents to the management for approval; implements them when approved.

5.       Regularly reviews customers’ requirements and assures products, systems and operations meet their requirements.

6.       Works with local and international quality control agencies and develops strategy for accreditation of company products. 

7.       Designs strategies to meet all the company products/services meet quality standards and the company has different quality certifications.

8.       Prepares quality standards to be followed by the business units.

9.       Devises procedures to inspect and report quality issues.

10.    Monitors all operations that affect quality and recommends management for immediate actions.

11.    Supervises and guide inspectors, technicians and other staff.

12.    Supplies quality control data necessary for submission to regulatory bodies.

13.    Evaluates new technologies and methods and make recommendations regarding their use.

14.    Reports all malfunctions to company executives to ensure immediate action.

15.    Facilitates proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.

16.    Communicates with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections.

17.    Investigates customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

18.    Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.

19.    Produce periodic reports on the performance of the unit and submit it to the immediate supervisor.

20.    Performs other similar tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.

Job Requirements

MSC/BSC in Chemical Engineering/Food Engineering /Related Fields 4/6/years Relevant Experience
