•  Prepares letters to defaulters for the settlement of arrears on loans granted by the Bank;

•  Endeavors to settle cases amicably through negotiation with defaulters;

• Prepares statements of claim, defense, pleadings, declaration or affidavit and memorandum of appeal;

• Assigns foreclosure and court cases to attorneys and closely follows up progress;

• Plans, organizes, directs, implements and controls the debt recovery and foreclosure services of the Bank;

• Formulates detailed frameworks to accomplish mandated functions;

• Supervises and evaluates the performance of subordinates;

• Ensures that all legal documents and files are kept safely and in strict confidentiality;

•   Assesses the performance of subordinates, and prepares and submits periodic reports to supervisor

• Performs other related duties as required.  

Job Requirements

Qualification   

• LLB Degree 

Experience

• 9 years of relevant experience of which 3 years in supervisory position
