Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inspecting the mixer.

• Scaling/weighing necessarily raw material (powder and/or liquid) for each batch of mixing operation and loads material into mixing equipment, mixing the ingredients according to the recipe/formulation and ensures results comply with specified batch requirements.

• Ensure that raw materials, packing materials received into the warehouse are free from defects.

• Responsible for keeping his machine and workstation clean throughout the shift.

• Documents operational information as required.

• Ensures that standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to ensure product quality are within specification.

• Ensure that procedures are carried out carefully and accurately to eliminate errors.

• Ensure product quality by strictly supervising and conduction process control tests.

• Ensure intermediate product are within specification and are without non-conformity’s before releasing the products to subsequent unit operations.

• Ensure good relations and communications with all members of the team and respond politely and in a timely fashion.  

• Conducting finished product tests.

• Preparation of reagents that will usable for quality inspection using test methods developed.

• Using Personal protective equipment while handling raw material, chemical preparation and mixing operation.

• Report all unsafe conditions, near misses and unsafe behaviors.

• Reported all accidents and incidents within the time frame provided by the company.

• Assured a high level of housekeeping standard within the production unit.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• BSC in chemical engineering /applied chemistry/ industrial chemistry or related field of study.

• Zero-year working experience.
