We produce and supply – paper and plastic labels, flexible and rigid packaging materials and pouches. Our plant is based in Addis Ababa, Kilinto Industrial park.

Job Description

SUMMARY

As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.

Key Performance Areas:

Financial:

• Responsible for the accuracy of the monthly Management Accounts, including the company Reporting Pack. This will include a review of all financial issues such as General Ledger recons, Creditor recons and Age Analysis, Debtors Age Analysis & Fixed Assets Register.

• Responsible for managing the finance team, including performance, deadlines & deliverables. Perform quarterly KPI reviews with the finance team.

 Preparation of key monthly reports:

• Internal Management Accounts

• Product Costing

• Margin Analysis

• Weekly Sales Reports

 Responsible for Cost Accounting functions:

• Valuation of inventory

• Product costings

• Review of import costings

• Responsible for inventory master data

• Create/maintain product master data

• Create/maintain manufacturing master data

• Schedule monthly review meetings with other  department Managers to review performance

• Scheduling of monthly stock counts & review of monthly stock variances

• Preparation of Project Cost justification calculations

Operational:

• Supplier contract management, including financial analysis of proposed purchases

• Formalization of policies & procedures

• Monitoring implementation of policies & procedures

• Responsible for Fixed Assets Register

• Responsible for Sales price master data

• Monthly Payroll review and variance analysis.

• Annual Budget preparation.

• Monthly tax computation and Corporate tax submissions.

• All Company tax compliance and submissions.

• Daily cash flow management.

• Oversight and super user for ERP System.

• Cost tracking against budgets and implementation of corrective action.

• Responsible for the execution and finalization of the annual financial audit
