REALITY REAL ESTATE is a construction and real estate company striving to contribute significantly to the real Estate sector of Ethiopia. Currently, we are looking for competent professionals to be assigned immediately to the following vacant position.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Plans, directs and controls the progress of construction activities.

• Creating construction plans using computer software, such as Ms project and AutoCAD

• Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure that construction meets specifications

• Monitoring construction progress to ensure construction is going as scheduled and safe conditions for workers and quality workmanship is attained

• Performing cost estimates for projects 

• Reviewing CAD and blueprints to ensure they meet standards and codes

• Assisting in the design of plans for new projects

• Developing specifications for materials used in construction 

• Reviews and verifies accuracy and consistency of engineering drawings and specifications and

• Provide guidance and direction to civil engineering staff, ensuring their compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and codes

• Oversee and regularly review engineering processes and resources to maximize efficiency and productivity

• Prepares regular reports on progress and requirements for labor, materials, machinery and equipment at the construction site.

• Meeting regularly with the Owners, Subcontractors, Client and Consultants to monitor and coordinate all phases of the construction project.

• Monitors Subcontractor's work schedule, safety performance and work quality.

• Ensures Client's specifications and requirements are implemented according to agreed deliverables; produces punch lists and coordinate completion of those lists.

• Evaluates and determines appropriate construction delivery systems and the most cost-effective plan and schedule for completing the project.

• Organizes and attends site meetings on Contractor's and Supplier's quality and performance to ensure adherence to established standards.

• Ensures that site comply with current health and safety regulations and Company’s safety policies.

• Develops good safety culture by ensuring that all personnel are trained or well briefed (method statements, risk assessments) in the tasks they undertake.

• Reviewing plans for structural soundness and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local codes

• BSc degree in Civil Engineering and related fields with 8 years and above work experience in construction or real estate sector
