Overview
REALITY REAL ESTATE is a construction and real estate company striving to contribute significantly to the real Estate sector of Ethiopia. Currently, we are looking for competent professionals to be assigned immediately to the following vacant position.
Assists the Department Manager by developing sourcing strategies including data collection, spend analysis, market research, negotiation, and contracting;
Undertakes business needs assessment, supply market analysis and commercial risk assessment for procurement planning and sourcing decisions;
Develops request for Tenders and Bid Proposals in order to obtain best possible pricing in consultation with immediate supervisor;
Undertakes the bid and tender evaluation ensuring the process meets international trading standards in consultation with the immediate supervisor, Legal Advisor and project coordinator;
Facilitates all purchase requisitions/ requirements and recommends supply sources, obtains quotations and performs all necessary co-ordination to progress sourcing of materials/services/equipment;
Ensures the day-to-day operations are maintained in line with the required standards to deliver the highest level of service to internal customers whilst at the same time building supplier relationships to ensure that suppliers become business partners;
Assists in negotiating price depending on the market trend to ensure competitive pricing of supplies for all international procurements;
Undertakes supplier segmentation and category strategy to ensure that supplier framework agreements are developed, implemented and managed to the benefit the company in terms of cost maximisation;
Prepares procurement orders for International procurements within the specified time limits and tracks progress of purchases co-ordinating with the supervisor for placement of orders;
Liaises with the asset manager and core finance team to manage inventory operations and track inbound delivery of procurement.
Applies due diligence in the choice of new online vendors and consult with related staff member when necessary to assess possible risks;
Establishes &maintains relationships with suppliers including soliciting and negotiating quotes; maintaining continuous communication with suppliers including order confirmation, following‐up on deliveries and communicating delivery, quality and shelf‐life problems with the suppliers as they arise;
Implements the policy for Supplier Management in line with the strategic direction of the company in order to set standards for building and maintaining relationships with long term suppliers;
Ensures delivery of goods and services as per requirements outlined within all purchase orders, following up as necessary;
Evaluates performance of vendors against set criteria and provides reports in relation to vendor performance for further action as determined necessary;
Maintains an up to date list of all suppliers and vendors and establishes a vendor database;
Assists in the process of management of new supplier sourcing on a continuous basis to ensure that the company has a stream of potential suppliers for all products in order to be able to deliver customer requirements at all times;
Prepares periodic performance report (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual) and submits to his/her immediate supervisor;
Performs other similar duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Requirements:
MA /BA Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management/Business Administration or related fields with a minimum of 6 years work experience for MA degree and 8 years work experience for BA degree out of which 3 years in similar position in construction or real estate sector.
Competencies:
Proven working experience as a Senior Procurement Officer for both local and foreign procurement activities
Knowledge of sourcing strategies and procurement techniques both for domestic and external market
Understanding of all Procurement processes and in particular to bid a& tender evaluation processes
Knowledgeable in planning and forecasting systems and highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent analytical and problem-solving and time-management skills
Relationship management& handling customers
Understanding of the global market, negotiations and networking
Good knowledge of procurement software such as ERP solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
