Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, study and design of the CIFF Funded Electrification Project within the designated geographic area of operation in collaboration with partners.

• Design using Engineering Software, and/ or Approve all designs to be efficient ,cost effective, inclusive, innovative and appropriate to the local conditions, prepare standard drawings , manuals

• Ensure the implementation of the Electrification Component of the project is in compliance with donor’s requirements, WV and government policies and global standards.

• Engage in the preparation of the operation plan of the program and ensure timely submission of standardized electrification documents and reports.

• Ensure the program delivery, evaluation and reporting carried out efficiently, rigorously and transparently in compliance with the established guidelines and procedures.

• Engage in and ensure proper liaison and networking with government, NGOs and other partners of the Electrification project.

• Develop and regularly update a detailed project work plan guiding the project implementation

• Plan, facilitate and conduct trainings on WASH related programs to relevant staffs and partners.

• Promote major cross cutting themes including environment, gender, protection, disability, peace building and Christian commitment.

Job Requirements

Education and Qualification

•  8 yrs for M.Sc and 10yrs for B.Sc with minimum of 4 years on relevant project/ program management experience in solar system design, implementation and contract administration both for electrification and water supply.

• M.Sc /B.Sc Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, and other related fields;

Special Criteria

• Other team management exposure and basic computer knowledge (word, Excel, lotus note) and advanced knowledge of current up-to-date design software.  

• Experience of solar Energy system design and Implementation
