Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
§ Ensure customers payments are processed timely, accurately with in daily cutoff times and deadlines.
§ Ensure any reconciliations items are investigated and cleared in timely manner.
§ Assist regional agents with customer payment.
§ Manage escalation, reporting and troubleshooting for system related issues either to corporate office or payment platform vendors.
§ Working closely with finance team to support the process of Fiscalization of electronic payments, reconciliation and documentation in order to adhere to the regulatory and business needs.
§ Monitor, communicate and log calls for payment system issues.
§ Investigate and clear queries in a timely manner and provide update of escalated of queries to Payment Manager.
§ Proactively research and support new payment methods and solutions.
§ Keep up to date with new developments in banking environment.
§ Prepare payment files to reprocess failed/missing customer payments using automatic reconciliation system.
§ Play an active role in cross team and companywide project in order to support the short term and long term strategy of the business.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
§ BA Degree in Finance, Computer science, Information systems or related field from a recognized university
§ Minimum 2 years’ experience in a financial or IT environment
§ Advanced skills in MS Excel and Office
Excellent understanding of existing payment landscape of Ethiopia.
