• Warehouse managers assume the responsibility for storage facilities. They manage the operations and the staff within.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory stock control and warehouse activities are maintained in a professional manner;

• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date documentation for all goods received and dispatched;

• Manage the issuance of Goods Receiving Note, Store Issue Voucher, and gate passes to internal and external customers as required;

• Ensure smooth and effective functioning of the store by planning, organizing, and controlling the overall operations;

• File and distribute documents as required and supervise team members with the preparation of weekly reports regarding goods movements, damage, or loss;

• Coordinate testing and inspection of delivered stock and return the rejected items to the supplier in a timely manner;

• Ensure products are kept in excellent condition and adequate stock levels are maintained all the time;

• Coordinate with procurement department to schedule well-timed delivery and receipt of products;

• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security of the warehouse staff at all levels;

• Develops and maintains a pleasant and conducive working environment with colleagues;

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse staff;

• Plan and supervise casual laborers and ensure proper work ethics is in place;

• Effectively implement warehouse management policies and procedures all the time;

• Performs other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

Academic qualification

• BA in Supply Chain Management and/ related business fields;

Additional Qualification:

• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks;

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

  • Self-motivated and result-oriented;

  • Previous supervisor experience is advantageous;

Work Experience: 5+ years of experience, of which in as a Manager role.
