Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Management, Customer Service & Strategy Development:
Support Talent Acquisition team in sourcing and selection for each position posted.
Coordinate with hiring managers and support on creating a diversity sourcing and recruitment strategy as needed.
Develop, build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and People & Culture (P&C) staff in a designated client group in order to fill all vacancies in a timely manner.
Candidate Sourcing & Screening:
Support the team on identifying and developing effective sourcing strategies (e.g. networking contacts, system queries/searches, religious institutions, College/Universities presentations).
Source potential candidates on LinkedIn and also on other platforms. Work with assigned Talent Acquisition Specialist to source hard to fill roles as needed.
Create advertisements and job postings using WVI & WV Ethiopia communication guidelines and templates.
Conduct effective screening, interviewing, and assessments for the best candidates for a position match using behavioral interviewing techniques.
Support in maintaining candidate relationships through ongoing communications regarding questions, updates and status during the interview process.
Recruitment and Systems Support:
Coordinate and support ready to Hire process and paperwork based on candidate acceptance.
Work in coordination with Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure appropriate orientation/on-boarding support is provided to new hires.
Coordinate interviews and contact applicants, as needed
Perform background and reference checks.
Prepare job offer letters
Utilize Workday recruitment tool appropriately and efficiently to ensure consistent, timely and accurate data entry and management.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and trends in recruitment.
Conduct recruitment responsibilities in a professional, service-oriented, responsive, innovative, ethical and cost-effective manner in accordance with WV Ethiopia goals and Christian principles.
General:
May work on other recruitments other than those of their clients.
May support Talent Acquisition Manager in various hiring needs.
Will attend regular and monthly team meetings and training conferences.
Maybe required to travel for official matters as required and other duties as assigned.
Required Professional Experience
A minimum of 4+ years human resources and talent acquisition experience
Experience in recruitment of professional and technical positions
Demonstrated ability to use creative sourcing and networking skills to connect with talent in different professions.
Successful skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast paced and ever-changing multinational organization.
Full cycle recruiting experience in a similar environment.
Possess cross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification.
Bachelor’s degree In Human Resource, Management or related field.
Experience utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques.
Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
A self-starter who is driven to find the best candidates for positions and who can work in an environment with minimal supervision.
A strong team player and collaborator who is able to effectively network amongst all work levels, both within and outside the organization
Strong interpersonal, negotiation communication skills (both written and oral)
Demonstrated computer literacy, including experience tracking recruitment metrics.
Expertise in advanced internet searching, candidate research, and cold-calling.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Working knowledge of Humanitarian INGO’s
Experience working with a candidate management system i.e. Workday
Experience working with online recruitment tools
