Job Description

Lebawi International Academy (LIA) is currently looking for a professional with an impeccable administrative and management skills, with an international experience for its vacant Business Head position.

The general aim of the position:

  • To oversee all non-academic operations, including Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, Admissions, Student Affairs, Administrative Assistant and IT department.

  • To plan and implement strategic directions to achieve the business goal of the institution.

  • To ensure the sustainable growth and success of the institution.

Priority Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Academy’s business functions, such as the Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Compliance, Admissions, Student Affairs, IT department and Facilities management.

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans that aligns with the school's missions and goals.

  • Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes, ensuring financial sustainability.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and contractual obligations, maintaining relationships with relevant bodies.

  • Collaborate with the Dean of School to ensure harmonious integration of the academic and business aspects of the school.

  • Advise and support the Board of Directors on all business-related matters.

  • Work closely with the Head of School/General Manager.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields: Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.

  • At least 10 years of leadership experience, preferably within an educational or non-profit setting.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in operations management.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, parents, students, and community members.

  • Familiarity with Ethiopian regulatory bodies and compliance requirements is a plus.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
