Africure Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Ethiopia plc is now looking to hire experienced candidate who is visionary to contribute a positive impact in team of Africure Ethiopia on the job position of Microbiologist.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Responsible for overall microbiological activities along with documentation as per SOP;

• Responsible for disinfection & cleanness of the Microbiology Laboratory;

• Responsible for sterilization of all requirement glassware’s before analysis;

• Responsible for preparation of media requirement for analysis as per specified test procedure;

• Responsible for environmental analysis as per schedule;

• Responsible for sampling and testing of potable and purified water as per schedule;

• Responsible for primary packing material microbiological analysis;

• Responsible for raw material microbiological analysis;

• Responsible for semi-finished/finished product microbiological analysis;

• Assist in issuing of SOPs for microbiological methods and responsible for proper implementation and taking care of the same without deviation;

• Performs validation and calibration as required;

• Responsible for culture conservation (growth promotion);

• Ensure that work is compliant with GLP and GMP;

Term of Employment: - Permanent up on satisfactory completion of the probationary period.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• MA/BA in Applied Microbiology, Microbiology or related fields

• at least with 2 – 4 years demonstrated work experience on the position in PHARMA industries.
