To ensure efficient, safe and timely movement of people and goods using the assigned vehicle.

 Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Transport people to and from desired destinations using the –assigned vehicle.

• Handle the vehicle in a safe and secure manner and keep it clean.

• Get proper preventive maintenance service for the assigned vehicle according to schedule.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repair of the vehicle.

• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.

• Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, or spark plugs.

• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations using telephones or mobile or two-way radios.

• Notify the Transport Coordinator, when a major vehicle malfunction occurs.

• Report the use of vehicles and fuel to the immediate supervisor.

• Report any accidents to the appropriate organs.

• Do all the necessary daily check-ups before driving.

• Park vehicles in safe and allowed places.

Job Requirements

Requirements and skills:

 ·   Tenth (10) grade completion with four (4) years of demonstrated experience.

·   3rd grade driving license.
