Background of Company
Kerchanshe Trading P.L.C is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently our company needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.
Duties
Lead, coach and assist Cost and Budget Team
Prepare actual vs. plan (budget) analysis. Prepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information for various customers as needed for decision making support
Provides feedback to enhance or improve existing policies, procedures and processes for the Cost Control function to maintain efficient operational excellence.
Set up new raw material, packaging, WIP, and FG items; create and maintain production BOMs; maintain periodic cost rolls/updates
Assist the business with the annual budget process by engaging with budget holders to deliver budgets within targets
Recommending corrective actions based on the status and summary reports to requesting management on material, machines and labor requirement of the project against agreed plans.
Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor
Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
Manage on time in full delivery of Cost and Budget team
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualification
BA in Accounting and Finance, Accounting
Experience
10 years of experience out of which 3 years as Cost and Budget Division Head
Skills
Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team,
Helpful to have experience manipulating large databases.
Hands on ERP experience preferred
