Requirements for Senior programmer

The Senior programmer is expected to lead a multidisciplinary team throughout the software development project which includes:

• Leading the development of complex software systems and applications.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.

• Designing and implementing scalable and high-performance software solutions.

• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Meeting with development managers to discuss software projects.

• Conducting feasibility studies for upgraded software systems.

• Designing new software programs, websites, and applications.

• Assigning tasks to junior developers such as coding, testing, debugging, and analytics.

• Writing advanced programming code.

• Reviewing updated software systems.

• Managing project timelines and tasks.

• Writing development reports. 

• Creating technical documents for new software programs.

Job Requirements

Education, Experience, and skills required.

• Bachelor's and above degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related field with 2 - 4 years of work experience as Senior Developer or similar role and

• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Solid understanding of computer science or software engineering principles,

• Hands-on experience in various software development projects, (demonstrable)

• Experience with modern programming frameworks like (front-end, back-end, web and mobile development frameworks)

• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL

• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance

• Carry out full functional software testing procedures,

• Demonstrated expertise in continuous integration/delivery/deployment.

• Experience with version control tools like Git/GitHub

• Very good communication and interpersonal skills, presentation skills, research skills, computer skills, collaboration and problem-solving skills, tackle complex technical challenges. Growth mindset and ability to motivate and mentor staff.

• Extensive experience in software development frameworks, with a focus on a specific technology stack (e.g.,.DotNet framework, JavaScript, PHP, MERN, Laravel, MySql, etc.).
