Job Description
Under the general supervision of the process plant manager, is responsible for scheduling, co-coordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives, ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget along with managing equipment and materials required.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Your duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Planning and execution of maintenance activities of equipment within processing plant.
Stock control of spares and ensure availability.
Ensure plant equipment is available for utilization of operations.
Oversee engineering team functions (Fitters, Boilermakers, Electricians and instrument technicians)
Adhere to all company working policies, procedures, SOPs during execution of duties and responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
Education:
Minimum of BSc degree in mechanical /industrial engineering or in any relevant filed.
Relevant engineering trade certificate.
Work Experience:
5 Years in a mineral processing plant, gold plant experience advantage. 3 Years Supervisory experience.
Skills and competencies required:
English reading and verbal communication - Excellent.
Be able to resolve problems and manage engineering functions within processing plant.
Attention to detail, planning, compile reports, time management.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other)
Monitoring progress and quality control.
