Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and facility equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

·      Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.

·      Implement preventative maintenance programs and monitoring systems.

·      Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.

·      Ensure proper operation of a wide variety of mechanical machines and devices including pumps, engines, motors, conveyors, compressors, and laboratory equipment.

·      Check electrical and mechanical systems of buildings to ensure functionality and standardization.

·      Plan and oversee all repair and technical activities.

·      Allocate workload and supervise maintenance workers.

·      Develop and implement training programs for all maintenance team members.

·      Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.

·      Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.

·      Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.

·      Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.

·      Manage routine preventive maintenance work.

·      Ensure health and safety policies are complied. 

·      Keep records of breakdown maintenance in detail to reflect material & labor costs and time taken.

·      Set the minimum stock level for each maintenance item and order accordingly.

·      Performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

Competencies

·      Willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to help the team succeed.

·      Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

·      Ability to keep track of and report on activity.

·      Experience in planning maintenance operations.

Qualification

·     BSc Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering 

.     Proven experience as a maintenance manager or other managerial role

Experience:

·      A minimum of 5 years experience in engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
