Job Overview
As Purchasing Clerk, you will support and facilitate the purchasing of required goods, and record keeping as it related to transactions and vendor performance. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards,
Ensure locally Nominated supplier information is kept current
Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased, using Group Nominated suppliers where applicable
Manage the database of active local contracts with suppliers,
Adhere to quality procedures and standards and oversee purchasing administration such that all Hilton policies and standards are upheld,
Maintain a record of commitments for all budgets and ensure that the relevant senior managers are constantly informed of updates,
Prepare the month end accounts reports in an accurate and timely manner,
Execute on tasks/requests as instructed by the Hotel and Department Management
Diploma or above in Purchasing and/or other relevant fields of study,A Minimum of two years hands on experience in Purchasing, Supplies Management Driving License and Computer Literacy is MandatoryGood time management and organization skillsExcellent grooming standards & Ability to work under pressure,Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations,
