BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES፡

Responsible for effective operation and maintenance of different water treatment & supply systems that produces, stores, circulates & supplies potable water to the hotel building complex and to pools, Jacuzzis, fountains and air conditioning systems with the treatments being fully compliant with internationally accepted standards.

Job Requirements

1.       MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool.

JOB requirement: Minimum of two years relevant work experience in water treatment system for different applications together with sound knowledge in effective operation of water treatment systems. In addition, the incumbent have knowledge in conducting laboratory analysis of water, understanding / interpreting results and taking corrective measures. A combination of certification plus one-year relevant work experience in a reputable organization.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English language conversation, well spoken, read, write, and understand English.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

§  Ability to do water sample tests and analyzes test results and interpreting that information to improve water quality.

* Working knowledge of local and international water quality regulations.

* Sound knowledge of other technical disciplines, which interface with water treatment, e.g. HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical and controls systems is desirable.

*  Ability to properly document water treatment related files, as per regulations & company’s policies.

*  Ability to apply professional approach to maintenance & operational problems.

*  Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments

*  Ability to conduct trainings; and must possess good communication skill in presenting technical reports.

  GROOMING: Must present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards.
