Administration Assistance

The Administration Assistance is responsible for providing administrative support to the company's management team and other employees. This includes tasks such as:

  • Serves as the first point of contact for clients, greeting visitors and answering and directing phone calls.

  • Creates and oversees management-level plans, coordinating with managers and team leaders to ensure smooth office operations.

  • Is accountable to the Operation Manager, following up on the implementation of top management's decisions.

  • Composes correspondences and coordinates appointments, managing calendars and schedules.

  • Creates a friendly working environment where everyone feels valued and contributes.

  • Takes management meeting minutes, demonstrating knowledge of administrative software and excellent written and verbal communication skills in Amharic and English.

  • Understands and implements discretion and confidentiality, with good interpersonal, time management, and work prioritization skills.

  • Is willing to flexibly work in different roles, with a creative mind and passion for learning new things.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of administrative procedures and be able to work independently and as part of a team. She/he will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Amharic and English.        

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT Management, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in handling customer inquiries and complaints.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Amharic and English.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

  • Willingness to learn ZERGAW's ERP software.

  • Passion for technology and learning new things.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
