Job Description

  • Assure that, the application of ASBM material management are managed based on ISO approved policy and procedures work flow process is done and check its application in all factories.

  • Oversee local and international procurement process based on ASBM requirement.

  • Manage and supervise all purchase requests are performed at standard time and facilitate the timely delivery of products from the loyal vendor.

  • Approve purchase request form based on the approved budget.

  • Supervise all factories store handling and keeping management process for raw materials and finished products.

  • Manage and direct for proper follow up of store documents receiving and issuing documents and reconcile monthly with finance stock controller against stock card and bin card.

  • Ensure that all ASBM properties are safeguarded and insured and check loading unloading processes is safely conducted at all factories.

  • Conduct surprise inspection for stock verification and control to all company properties.

  • Coordinate for yearly count of fixed assets based on created system, cost center and location.

  • Identify company property by its code, reference number and location for annual inventory.

  • Identify materials required for disposal and develop its own file.

  • Check the update of stock record cards and bin cards regularly.

  • Control full and accurate inventory records.

  • Undertake (documented) monthly and ad-hoc physical inventory checks.

  • Ensures ASBM proper utilization of assets.

  • Ensures proper recording and labeling of assets

  • Ensures proper handing over of assets and equipment by the staff at point of departure

  • Ensures proper transfer and recording of equipment and office machines/computers and others/, furniture etc. from one person to the other.

  • Manage all assets, equipment and properties have tag numbers before utilization and during utilization.

  • Follow up of a record of obsolete/expired/damaged materials and equipment and reports to Supply Chain Manager and request disposal.  

  • Perform any other related work assigned by Finance Director.
