Job Description

BALANCE is a Clothing and Home wear products retail store that offers excellent quality and latest trends made in Ethiopia for all age and genders.

We are looking for a Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clothing retail store in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. You will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, sales, and customer service.

As a Shop Manager, you will:

  • Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel

  • Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance

  • Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.

  • Communicate with Head office about inventory orders and deliveries

  • Ensure high quality and premium clothing and apparel at the lowest cost

  • Monitor sales and customer feedback and adjust strategies accordingly

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

  • Responsible for training, evaluation and assessment of employees through feedback and coaching.

Pay Range: Negotiable.

Job Requirements

To be successful as a Shop Manager, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Shop Manager, Retail Manager, or Store Manager in the clothing industry

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of retail management software and systems

  • A degree in Business Administration, Textile or Garment  Merchandising Marketing, or related field is preferred
