Job Description

The Resources Mobilization and Business Development professional will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities for the organization. The role requires a strong understanding of fundraising strategies, business development, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure funding from various sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.

  • Conduct research to identify potential funding opportunities and maintain a database of potential investors, donors and sponsors.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing donors and sponsors, ensuring timely reporting on the use of funds and the impact of their contributions.

  • Develop proposals, grant applications, and other fundraising materials to secure funding from various sources.

  • Work with the marketing team to develop marketing materials that effectively communicate the organization's mission, goals, and impact.

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify potential corporate partners and develop partnerships that align with the organization's mission and goals.

  • Monitor fundraising activities and report progress to the leadership team regularly.

  • Attend conferences, networking events, and other fundraising-related events to promote the organization and identify new funding opportunities.

Job Requirements

  •  Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in fundraising, business development, or marketing.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques.

  • Knowledge of the nonprofit sector and its funding sources.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

The Resources Mobilization Business Development professional will play a critical role in securing funding for the organization's programs and initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fundraising strategies, business development, and marketing and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
