Purpose statement

• Ensure Group Reporting is made accurately, timely, and compiled with respect to the accounting policies and procedures.

• Conduct Tax filing and ensuring payment made on-time and with Accuracy, ensuring compliance with all federal, state & Local Regulations 

• Ensuring an acceptable level of Internal Control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all monthly group report submissions completed before the deadline accurately 

• Ensure month-end financial performance reports are submitted to the management within reporting timeline.                                 

• To take ownership to follow-up and Clear all outstanding aged trade receivables, staff debtors, maintaining funds for payments, increasing relationships with banks, clearing bank reconciliation, and confirming Inter-Company accounts. To send weekly status updates every Friday to Line managers 

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date accounts and financial records are maintained based on company/group financial policy and standardized procedure. Ensure Previous month, Budget & YTD figures are accurately recorded for performance comparison

• Conduct GAP Analysis, and develop new SOP based on current practice

• Resolve all pending audit findings from Group, External, and Tax Health Check Auditors & Complete external audit by the first week of Every March 

• Ensure Profit Tax & Transfer Pricing Declaration for each year 

• Consistency follow-up finance team members’ performance, conduct one-to-one discussions, and monitor their performance based on the KPI  given on a weekly basis, allocate at least 1 hour for one-to-one discussions with each, Ensure the good culture and responsibility acceptance are adhered to and lead the team to become more productive and result oriented.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• MBA/BA degree in Accounting and Finance 5 to 7 years of work experience in Fast moving consumer goods, preferably in the Soap and detergent sector is an asset.

• Knowledge of Practical experience in ERP and SAP is a plus. 

• Previous Experience in dealing with Financial Audit Reports.

• Strong Experience in Month End and Year End closing & reporting

Competencies:

• With practical Experience in dealing with Tax offices both desk and comprehensive Audit 

• Fluency in English is mandatory.

• Ability to manage, guide, and lead Employees.

• Strong Soft Skills, 

• Ability to work as a team  

• Has a strong believes in Change Management & strong ability to influence change.
