We are currently seeking a qualified Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our coffee and biscuits marketing team.
Job Description
Beka Food Manufacturing is an established coffee roasting and biscuit factory located in the Yerer area of Bole Sub City, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We are searching for an organized Sales and Marketing Manager who is ideally suited for this role.

Scope and General Purpose: The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading sales and marketing activities. The manager will propose and implement strategies to increase sales volume and market share for our coffee, biscuits, and other products. They will closely adhere to marketing principles and maintain strong customer relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop appropriate marketing strategies, policies, and procedures.
Conduct marketing research, sales promotion, and manage both export and local sales.
Explore foreign markets for our products, negotiate sales, and oversee product deliveries within authorized limits.
Investigate and evaluate sales distribution channels.
Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understand consumer requirements, identify market trends, and propose system improvements to achieve our marketing goals.
Collect, investigate, and summarize market data and trends to draft reports.
Implement new sales plans and advertising initiatives.
Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and manage marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing objectives.
Maintain relationships with important clients through regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
Perform sales analysis by monitoring competitive trends and potentials, customer needs and preferences, and convert data into sales projections and planning information.
Identify new market targets, distribution systems, and direct marketing channels, conduct testing, and provide decision-making information.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of marketing information records and documents.
Evaluate price structures and sales terms, suggesting changes to meet customer needs, economic conditions, demand trends, and competitive positioning. Propose prices for new products.
Drive social media marketing, ensuring visibility, consistency, relevance, and updated content on various platforms.
Continually monitor competitive products, new market entrants, and opportunities to improve Beka's market share.
Address customer complaints effectively by identifying key issues and proposing appropriate corrective measures.
Supervise, support, and develop coffee and biscuit retail shops for smooth and efficient operations.
Engage in networking events, conferences, exhibitions, and related opportunities to understand industry developments and create business opportunities, particularly in the biscuit, cupping, and coffee festival sectors.
Establish and maintain strong business relationships with existing customers.
Establish and manage local and international agents.
Perform any other related tasks as required.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelors or Master's degree in Business (Marketing) or other related fields.
Minimum 1 year of experience in sales and marketing.
Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
