BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of furniture upholstery as well as other wooden works. Also responsible for the manufacturing and installation of wooden items.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool. 

EDUCATION:

• Diploma in Carpentry from a recognized Technical College or Technical School 

EXPERIENCE: 

• A Minimum of three years work experience in carpentry. 

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: 

•  Read, write, comprehend and well-spoken in English language is required. Other international language is a plus.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

·         Complete knowledge of all wooden works.

·         Ability to apply professional approach to manufacturing, maintenance and operational wooden works.

·         Ability to ensure that the existing planned preventive maintenance programs is executed smoothly.

·         Ability to develop improved working procedures in woodwork.

·         Ability to work with minimum supervision & handle multiple assignments.

·         Sound knowledge of other technical disciplines, which interface with Carpentry: Upholstery, Painting & Masonry.
