Summary of Responsibilities:

• Examining patients, reviewing medical history and reviewing tests before surgery

• Creating anesthesia plans for patients

• Administering and managing anesthesia before, during and after the surgery

• Monitoring vital signs during surgery

• Monitoring recovery

• Monitoring patients in the Intensive Care Unit

• Consulting with doctor team on patient care

• Documenting the performance, interpretation, or outcomes of all procedures performed.

• Participating in quality improvement activities

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree

• Valid and active medical license

• ICU experience preferred

• Patient management skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Fluent in English and Amharic – written and spoken

• Minimum 2 years previous experience in similar position
