Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing and Sales Manager to join our team at Green Scene Energy PLC. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the marketing and sales efforts for our electrical and electro mechanical equipment, specifically irrigation pumps and solar products, targeting the off-grid rural areas of Ethiopia. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in marketing and sales, as well as a passion for sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our electrical and electro mechanical equipment, with a focus on irrigation pumps and solar products for off-grid rural Ethiopia

  • Generate new leads and pursue sales opportunities, building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential customers

  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise to customers, highlighting the benefits and features of our electrical and electro mechanical equipment

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content, tailored to the target market

  • Stay updated on industry developments and competitive landscape through market research and analysis of trends

  •  Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, delivering exceptional customer service and addressing their unique needs

  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare reports for management to assess progress towards revenue targets

  •  Identify opportunities for growth by anticipating market changes, customer needs, and competitor activities

  •  Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network with key stakeholders and showcase our electrical and electro mechanical equipment

  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process

  •  Highly engage in digital marketing activities to promote company activities and products

    Continuously communicate with existing customers to identify and address their needs

  • Work under minimum supervision to achieve targets

Job Title: Marketing and Sales Manager for Electrical and Electro Mechanical Equipment (Irrigation pumps and solar products) for off-grid rural Ethiopia

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  •  5 years' relevant Proven experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the electrical and electro mechanical equipment industry

  • At least one year on senior position

  • Good understanding of the rural community, their culture and way of life

  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electro mechanical equipment, specifically irrigation pumps and solar products, and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences

  • Strong negotiation and sales closing skills, with a track record of meeting or

  • exceeding sales targets

  •  Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership and collaboration abilities

  • Proficiency in CRM software and the MS Office Suite

  • Willingness to travel as needed within rural Ethiopia to meet with clients and understand local market dynamics

  • Good knowledge in Digital Marketing and Design Skill

  • Someone who can work under minimum supervision and open to learn from others and situations.
