Purpose

As an exclusive implementing partner to some of the widely known technology platforms in the world, KEMMCOM is actively involved in implementing a digital literacy programme in Ethiopia to be conducted with the civil society sector. The programme intends to raise awareness about responsible online behaviour, critical thinking, and societal issues frequently discussed through digital technology to promote safe, responsible, and useful usage of the platforms.

The programme's goals are to teach the select audience the necessary skills to navigate and understand the online world, as well as to improve their knowledge of online safety, news and media literacy, privacy, digital citizenship, and other related topics.

The primary objectives of hiring a videographer and photographer for the TOT event are as follows:

  • Capture high-quality visual content that effectively showcases the event activities, presentations, and participant interactions.

  • Create professional videos and photographs that can be used for promotional, documentation, and knowledge-sharing purposes.

  • Provide visual materials that reflect the essence and key messages of the TOT event.

Scope of Work:

The videographer and photographer will be responsible for the following tasks:

Videographer:

  • Record video footage of the TOT event, including training sessions, group activities, and participant interviews.

  • Ensure clear audio capture during presentations and discussions.

  • Edit and produce high-quality video content, including highlights, summaries, and promotional videos.

  • Provide raw footage and edited videos in suitable formats for distribution and archival purposes.

Photographer:

  • Capture high-resolution photographs of the TOT event, trainers, participants, group activities, and venue arrangements.

  • Ensure diverse coverage of the event to capture its overall atmosphere and key moments.

  • Edit and enhance selected photographs to create visually appealing images.

  • Provide the final edited photographs in digital format, suitable for online and offline use.

Equipment and Resources:

The videographer and photographer are expected to bring their own professional equipment, including cameras, lenses, tripods, lighting, and audio recording devices. They should ensure that their equipment is of high quality and suitable for capturing professional-level videos and photographs.
