Job Summary
As a Land Acquisition and Construction Project Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the successful acquisition and development of real estate properties. You will work closely with the project management team, land acquisition specialists, and construction professionals to support various phases of our development projects.
Key Functions
Land Acquisition Support:
Assist in researching potential land acquisition opportunities.
Prepare detailed property analysis reports, including zoning regulations, environmental assessments, and market research.
Collaborate with legal teams to review and prepare necessary documents for property acquisition.
Maintain and update the land acquisition database.
Project Coordination:
Provide administrative support to project managers, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project calendars, and handling project-related documentation.
Assist in preparing and tracking project budgets and expenses.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Construction Support:
Monitor construction progress and report any deviations from project timelines or budgets.
Assist in procurement processes, including obtaining bids and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and assist in the resolution of construction-related issues.
Communication and Reporting:
Maintain clear and effective communication channels between project teams.
Prepare regular project status reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of presentations for investors, partners, and regulatory agencies.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for construction projects.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in construction management, real estate, business administration, or related field
5 years of Experience
strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of real estate development, construction processes, and land acquisition is a plus.
Proficiency Language ( Oromifa )
