 Purpose of the job:

Under the general direction and supervision of the DEPUTY MD,   ROAD CARGO & TRANSPORT OPERATION MANAGER is responsible for the management of day to day road cargo and transport operation managing, leading, planning, organizing & coordination of domestic shipment.

AHUNUNU TRADING PLC (AHUNUNU EXPRESS SERVICE is a growing logistic company. We offer road cargo transport and express air courier service throughout Ethiopian cities. We operate to different parts of Ethiopia using our trucks, Ethiopia Airlines domestic flight & third party operators.

The road cargo transport operation Manager will lead & coordinate all LTL (less than truck load) 4 FTL (Full truck load) shipments that will go by road . he/she will have a team of dispatchers and logistics officers to report the day to day operation of the road cargo shipments.

Furthermore, he/she will be responsible for

• Selection of third party truck owners &building operators profile

• Lead & coordinate day to day road shipment operation

• Manage & control drop off & pick up lead time

• Set target & achieve the section KPIS  acting with company plan

• Engage with commercial team to market & source loads & close sales deals

• Generate bills with receivable finance team & fulfill necessary documentation

• Follow up loads request & lead the track & track team for safe hand over

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience

• Master’s degree in Accounting , finance, Business Administration ,Transport management , Engineering or related fields with four (4) years of demonstrated experience out of which two (2) years at senior leadership level OR

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing , Management, Business Administration , Transport Management, Engineering or related fields with six(6) years of demonstrated experience out of which three(3) years at senior Leadership level

 Other Essential Experience and Skills

• Has good experience and knowledge in fleet dispatching activity

• Has got managerial experience in transport company ,logistic & supply chain profession

• certified with good ethics

• Priority is given to those who have a drive license

• Experienced in dealing with third party truck owners & transporters
