Vantage is committed to prior quality and excellence, because we really care. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager / Director to be based in Addis Ababa.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing plans and implementing marketing strategies for the company. He will be in charge of conducting market analysis, segmentation, and positioning, and will be developing communication strategies, and implementing various marketing programs across the company and the various divisions.
Study competition, conduct benchmark analysis, and identify market trends. A good knowledge in market segmentation, targeting, and positioning is required
Develop marketing plans, including market analysis, marketing strategies, planning, and budgeting for the company and each of the different divisions
Manage the department’s marketing budget.
Develop and execute innovative marketing programs/plans that attract customers
Develop advertising strategy, and media planning for the company
Develop various advertising material, and collateral material
Make timely schedule plans and allocate duties to team members
Responsible for company PR, all marketing programs, events, exhibitions and sponsorships
Develop and maintain good relationships with customers
Update and manage corporate website, and conduct online marketing activities to attract new customer/customer group/
Collect industry data and use the insights to update our marketing strategies
Conduct customer and market research, and analyze output to generate findings
Monitor and review all marketing activities, and assess all the results achieved

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in marketing or business administration from a recognized university
Minimum 5/3 years’ marketing experience, out of which 3/1 years as Marketing Manager for Master’s and Bachelor’s degree respectively, preferably in Travel Industry.
Must speak fluent English and Amharic
