Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
The CCTV Camera operating Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
Report to SIS Security and Safety Manager/Operations Manager/ Head of School
Manage, operating, reporting, recording and control CCTV cameras.
Viewing (64 cameras) and monitoring security and safety at the school
Ensuring the CCTV system is fully functional and that the video footage is recorded and stored appropriately.
Alerting security staff if theft, vandalism or any other risks that are stated at the SIS’s security and safety standard operation (SOP) are seen.
Recording all incidents in a logbook.
Immediately reporting all cameras that are offline.
To make arrangements for repair to CCTV cameras, as required.
Perform CCTV camera operating procedures using SIS’s CCTV camera policy and standard operation procedure.
Perform other work-related duties, as required or directed.
Job Requirements
Professionalism:
knowledge of CCTV camera operating systems.
Technical skills to understand and consolidate the varying specializations such as electronics.
To uphold confidentiality.
Skills:
observational, vigilance, attention to detail, quick response
Qualification:
Diploma/TVET level certificate in Electronics or similar fields
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years similar experience
Language:
Good level of spoken and written English.
