Job Summary

• The Company Manager is accountable to the Metal, Mining & Chemical Operation Director and is responsible for developing different policies and strategies of the factory and ensures that the factory is delivered on time. He/ She ensures the factory is effectively resourced and is also responsible for Planning; managing, allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.   

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To lead and make decisions to achieve the company's mission and vision based on laws and regulations according to the direction given.

• Ensuring the implementation of policies, strategies and operational guidelines to guide and make the company effective.

• Preparing, approving and implementing the overall short, medium and long term plan of the company;

• Planning, directing, coordinating and controlling the entire company's work to keep it competitive and effective;

• Planning and managing the company's human resources, finance and property management activities according to the delegation of authority;

• Submitting and approving an audit report regarding the company's work and financial activities to the relevant body;

• Supporting, monitoring and evaluating the performance of department managers and service officers who are directly accountable to the general manager;

• Focus on modern technologies for innovation, and adaption to increase the productivity of the factory;

• Formulate a strategy that enables the factory to improve and utilize the timely maintenance and service.

• Formulate a strategy for the production and marketing of the factory products to meet the needs of the community and its customers, undertake social responsibilities and obligations, implement, evaluate the performance and take corrective measures.

• Formulate the Manpower required for the factory, raw material; Facilitates conditions for sustainable effectiveness by ensuring that financial and other resources are met.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities given by the Metal, Mining & Chemical Operation Director and the concerned body.

Job Requirements

Education

• BA/BSC/MA/MSC degree in Mechanical engineering. Chemical engineering, Electrical engineering, Industrial engineering, Chemistry, Management, Business Management, Leadership, Economics & Related Fields. 

Experience

• 12/10 years of relevant work experience for BA/BSC, 10/8 years for MA/MSC degree Relevant work experience in Manufacturing industries and of which 4 years and above in a responsibility Position.

Other Personal Attributes

• having good experience in manufacturing companies with the positions of  General managers, having an innovativeness sprit, an  integrity behavioural, team work sprit, good ethical behaviour, good customer handling and serving approach skill, willingness to accept changes and implement it; no prior disciplinary records, recommendable/accepted for the position; accepting the given responsibility and being committed for overcoming responsibilities; good previous performance history and working discipline;
