Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Word Press Specialist to join our team at Ashewa Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the advancement and customization of our website builder using open source software and customized software solutions for our clients. The WordPress Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the functionality, performance, and user experience of our websites.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and objectives.
Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and templates based on client specifications.
Implement and maintain website features and functionality using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
Optimize website performance, speed, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs related to WordPress websites.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and technologies.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
Assist in the deployment and migration of WordPress websites.
Collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure seamless integration of design elements into WordPress websites.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a WordPress Specialist or similar role.
Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
Experience with open source software and customization.
Familiarity with website builder tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
Understanding of responsive web design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in working with customized software solutions is a plus.
