Duties & Responsibilities:

• Video Production: Responsible for video production for varying projects and with our different partners and stakeholders.

• Expected to write, shoot, edit, and deliver compelling, high-quality promotional and educational video content. This includes

• planning, scouting, and securing locations, storyboarding, writing, conducting interviews, composing shots, filming, and editing content.

• Photography: Responsible for composing, shooting, and editing photos for different events, projects, and formal studio setups.

• Audio/Visual: Set up, run, and tear down basic audio, multicamera, and video LED setups based on need.

• Ability to communicate effectively with other departments.

• collaborate with the marketing team and Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Collaborate with internal resources to define and develop the concepts of each project.

• Produce, and edit for a variety of video formats

• Pitch, research, develop and write videos

• Produce and develop on-camera talent

• Create and develop multiple video formats

• Help ideate stories and see through to completion, project managing all aspects of the production

• Shoot on occasion in studio and field interviews

• Create social “cut downs” for other video platforms (e.g. Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)

• Create motion graphics for videos and Implement best practices of a digital production process including thumbnails, headlines, metadata, etc.

• collaborate with the marketing team on production strategies

• Implement YouTube platform best practices

• Work closely with the newsroom and video stakeholders

• Demonstrate great editorial judgment

• Ensure that all journalistic and legal standards are followed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Production, Communications, or a related field.

• An outstanding track record in supporting and delivering quality video production.

• experience as a creative director.
